Pulley

Sometimes you come across a simple idea, and it is so well liked that you wonder why you didn't do it much sooner.  This was the case when I enlisted my husband's help to install a pulley in our outdoor play area.  If you have kids, and you have a place you could put one, they are lots of fun!

My buddies and I have used our pulley with lots of little toys.  Plastic blocks, sand, and water and lots of other things have been pulled up and lowered down with the pulley.  They never seem to tire of watching items go up and down. 

(Of course, caution is needed and kids need to be supervised while using the pulley, and when I'm not able to supervise, I put it up out of reach.)
